Who we are

AI Social Finder ("we", "us") runs a face search tool at aisocialfinder.com. You upload a photo of a face, and we search publicly available web pages for visually similar faces. Questions about this policy go to support@aisocialfinder.com.

Biometric notice

A face search works by comparing facial features in the photo you upload with faces on public web pages. That comparison involves facial geometry, which many laws treat as biometric information. By starting a search you confirm that you have the right to search the photo and you consent to this processing for the single purpose of running that search.

• We do not build or keep a database of faces.
• We do not use your photos to train models.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade photos, face data, or search results.

What we collect

• Photos you upload. The image you submit for a search, and a small preview shown back to you while the search runs.
• Search results. The list of public URLs, similarity scores, and thumbnails returned for your search.
• Account information. If you sign in: your email address, name, and profile picture from your sign-in provider.
• Purchase information. If you buy credits: a record of the purchase. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data. IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and working.

How long we keep it

• Photos, previews, and search results are deleted within 24 hours of the search being created. An automated job removes expired searches every hour, and a search link stops working once it expires.
• Where a third-party search provider keeps its own copy, we request deletion from that provider when our copy is purged, where the provider supports it.
• Account and purchase records are kept while your account is active and as required for tax and accounting.

Who we share it with

To run a search, the photo is sent to a third-party face search provider that searches the public web on our behalf. We also use providers for hosting and database (Cloudflare), payments, sign-in, and transactional email. These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

What results are and are not

Results are links to pages that were already public. We do not access private profiles, dating apps, or anything behind a login. A match is a similarity score between two images, not a statement about who someone is.

Age

The service is only for adults aged 18 and over. Do not upload photos of minors. If we learn a search involves a minor, we delete it.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in, remember your language and theme, and protect the site. We may also use cookies to understand how the site is used in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser; parts of the site that need sign-in will then not work.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account data by emailing support@aisocialfinder.com. Search photos and results are already deleted within 24 hours. If you believe your own face appears in someone else's search and want to raise a concern, contact us at the same address.
