What it is
A reverse face search that tells you what it can’t do
AI Social Finder compares the face in your photo with faces on publicly reachable web pages, and lists the pages where similar faces appear — with a similarity score, a source domain and a link you can check yourself.
It is
- A public-web similarity search
- A starting point for verification
- A way to find your own photos online
- Pay-per-search with a free preview
It is not
- Access to private accounts or DMs
- A background check or FCRA report
- Proof of identity
- A tool for tracking people
How it works

Honest use cases
What a search can (and can’t) tell you
These are representative scenarios written by our team — not customer testimonials, and not real people.
A match’s photos all looked like a magazine shoot. The preview showed the same face on a fitness model’s portfolio under a different name — enough to unmatch before sending anything.
Searching my own selfie surfaced an old forum avatar and a scraped profile on a people-search site. I used the removal guide to file two takedown requests.
The preview came back with zero strong matches, so I didn’t pay. That told me the photos weren’t widely reposted — useful, and free.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What does AI Social Finder actually search?
Only the public web: pages that search engines and our face-search provider can already reach without a login. We do not access private accounts, closed groups, dating-app internals, or any government or law-enforcement database.
Do I pay before I know if there are results?
No. Every face search runs a free preview scan first. You see how many candidate matches were found and the top 3 in full. You only spend a credit to unlock the rest.
How much does it cost?
$5 buys 1 credit, $12 buys 3 credits. One credit unlocks one face search or one deep username lookup. Credits are one-time purchases, not a subscription, and unused credits are refundable under our refund policy.
What happens to the photo I upload?
The image is used only to run your search. The photo, the face vector and the result list are automatically purged within 24 hours by a scheduled deletion job. We never use your upload to train models and never sell it.
Is a match proof of someone's identity?
No. Face matching is probabilistic. A high similarity score means "worth checking", not "this is the same person". Always verify with context, and never use results for employment, housing, credit, insurance or tenant decisions.
Who is not allowed to use it?
Anyone under 18, and anyone who wants to stalk, harass, dox, or track a person, identify a minor, or monitor a partner. Those uses are prohibited by our Terms and we cooperate with abuse reports.
Can I search my own face to see where it appears?
Yes — that is one of the most common uses. Search yourself, then follow our removal guide to request takedowns from the sites that host your photos.
How accurate is it?
Accuracy depends heavily on the photo: a clear, front-facing, well-lit face over 200px works best. Sunglasses, heavy filters, side profiles or group shots lower the quality. We show a score band (Strong / Possible / Weak) for every result instead of pretending to be certain.
